Alex Rivera Triathlon Sponsorship

On Sunday, October 11, 2009, Alex Rivera will be participating in the Cape Henlopen Triathlon sponsored by Piranha-Sports in Lewes, Delaware. Alex is a family friend of David Ulp, an active, friendly little boy with Down syndrome who loves to swim and play soccer. In participating in this triathlon, Alex’s sponsorships will support the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware’s newly formed Special Olympic team, the Delaware Destroyers, and other DSA of Delaware recreation programs.

The triathlon consists of ¼ mile ocean swim, 14 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. Alex’s start time should be 7:50am near the Ocean Bath house in Cape Henlopen State Park.
