Buddy Run

The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware was proud to kick off the Buddy Walk with its 3rd Annual 5K Buddy Run. The race is USATF certified, flat and fast. It is an L & M Sports Event. Ask friends, family, and co-workers to support you by making a donation to the Buddy Run. All proceeds are directed to the education and support of DSA of DE members and its mission.

Race Day

Race starts at 11:00 AM.

Registration opens at 10:00 AM.

The race will start and finish next to the University of Delaware Football Stadium.

Results & Awards

• $50 cash award for overall Male and Female Winners.
• Medals will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.
• Race results will be posted on www.dsadelaware.org the day of the race.

Amenities

• T-shirts guaranteed for pre-registered runners only; remaining t-shirts will be distributed until quantities are depleted
• Pre-Race and Post-Race refreshments
• Bathroom facilities at start/finish line
• Free entrance into the Buddy Walk festivities beginning at 12PM on the Field House lawn

Directions

Take I-95 to exit 1-B; Route 896 North, becomes S. College Ave at intersection of Route 4. Continue straight approximately 1/4 Mile to Stadium on your right. Follow Buddy Run signs.
