On behalf of the DSA of Delaware thank you for your support and participation in the 2011 Buddy Walk! Your enthusiasm and creativity was overwhelming! We had more than 2,100 registered walkers representing more than 75 teams making this a record breaking year! Plus, over $102,000 collected.
All of our teams put forth an incredible effort to not only raise awareness of Down syndrome, but to also raise money to support the mission of the DSA of Delaware. Leading this charge was this year’s Buddy Walk Challenge Grand Prize Winner – Team Our Little Man, Jimmy Albensi. Team Our Little Man raised $12,929.70 for the Buddy Walk and attend the NDSC convention in San Antonio, TX..
The spirit judges were blown away by the number of banners, signs, decorations and overall energy that filled the track this year.
