Volunteer Information

Event day volunteers are needed to help set-up, register walkers, support children’s activities and more. Volunteers are asked to commit 2.5 hours of time, and must be at least 16 years of age. If you would like to volunteer complete the attached volunteer registration form, call (302) 995-1004, or email volunteers@dsadelaware.org.

Volunteer Shifts

The following shifts will be offered to Buddy Walk volunteers:

• 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Set-up and 5KRun)
• 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Entire Event)
• 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Volunteer Assignments

Volunteers will be placed at the discretion of Buddy Walk staff based on level of need. Please be flexible.

Volunteers will be placed in one of the following areas:

• Setup
• Registration
• Response Team
• Children’s Activities
• Walk
• Raffle/Silent Auction
• 5K Buddy Run
