Join us on March 13 for our Annual Dinner and Elections. Book your babysitter now.....then plan to enjoy an evening out with good food, good conversation, and inspiration by some of our own self-advocates presentation of - "In Our Words - Our Stories." Elections for Board Members will also take place. Registration is required and available on line. 6:30 pm Cash bar 7:00pm Dinner Registration also includes the option of paying membership dues. Dues paying members enjoy voting, recreation scholarship and other priviledges. Click on registration to pay dues and/or rsvp for the dinner. Support group meeting for parents, guardians and caregivers of adults with DS. Share concerns, issues and possiblities with other parents who walk in your shoes.

Children from infant and up will have the opportunity to hunt for eggs filled with candy and various toys. Bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided.

Everyone is welcome to add input and help out in the planning of the 2010 Buddy Walk. Please considering joining us Planning meetings are held the second monday of each month 6:30pm at the State Police Troop 2 Barracks unless otherwise noted

Pediatric Nurse, Maureen Egan will facilitate a discussion on potty training individuals with special needs. Conversation will include medical issues, challenges and parent experiences.

Kick off the 2010 Buddy Walk witn an adult night out with adult members of your team...or simply invite your friends, family, and co-workers to share an evening together in support of individuals with DS. All tips and proceeds form the specialty drink will be donated to the Buddy Walk. Appetizers will be served.
