DSA of DE Scholarships

Scholarships are available for recreational activites, conventions and seminars, and other similar non-medical requests.  Recreational activities could include kindermusic, theater group, music lessons, little gym, etc.  Scholarships will be awarded based on available budgeted funds, number of requests and a families previous awards. Scholarships may not necessarily cover the entire cost of the requested program.  Scholarships are available for families living in the DSA of DE service area, participating, and current dues paying member.*  To request a scholarship, complete the scholarship application form and mail by deadlines.  Established deadline periods are April 30 for Summer camp scholarships and the NDSC Convention. August 30 for any activities taking place starting in the fall and winter. January 30 for spring activties. Applications for seminars and conventions held later in the year should be submitted as soon as possible and will be contingent on any remaining budgeted funds.

*Dues are not required to participate in any DSA of DE activity or event or to be included on any mailing or email list. Dues paying members are granted the priviledge of voting, receiving scholarships and receiving discounts on some fee based events. Dues help offset program and administrative costs in uncertain economic climates and provide more up to date information on the families we serve. Thank you for your support. To pay dues, send a check for $15 to the DSA of DE or pay online using a credit card through the Donation option on the main page and indicating custom - membership in the requested field.
