2010 Buddy Walk Scholarship

Scholarship Guidelines:

The Scholarship will grant up to $2000 to attend the 2010 NDSC Annual Convention at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida July 16 - July 18, 2010.

Applicants are limited to families with an individual with Down syndrome living in the DSA of DE service region and have registered a team that participates in the 2010 DSA of DE Buddy Walk. 

DSA of DE Board Members are not eligible to participate.  Interested families must complete and submit the application below no later than May 1, 2010 to:

The winner will be selected at random by the DSA of DE Board of Directors at the May 3, 2010 Board meeting.  The scholarship will cover the cost of attending the NDSC Convention, to include registration fees (general convention, pre-conference, Brothers & Sisters Conference, Youth & Adults Conference,) other related convention expenses, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses up to $2000.  Expense receipts must be submitted according to the DSA of DE protocol for reimbursement by August 31, 2010.   It will be the responsibility of the recipient to make all travel and accommodations plans/reservations and to complete registration for the convention. Convention registration closes on June 25 (June 10 for Youth & Adults Conference.)
