Let’s Talk About Sex… Education with Isabella Weber from Planned Parenthood of DE

Parents are the most important sex educators for their children, but it’s not always easy to know what to say or when to say it. This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of young people with Down Syndrome and will equip participants will tools and skills to teach a broad range of human sexuality topics to the young people in their lives. Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win one of three copies of Teaching Children with Down Syndrome about Their Bodies, Boundaries, and Sexuality by Terri Couwenhoven!
Isabella Weber, MPH is the Vice President of Education & Training at Planned Parenthood of Delaware, which provides comprehensive sex education and professional training to over 5,000 people annually in Delaware and neighboring states. She has been a sex educator since 2010 and has a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
