IEP Basics Workshop

The DSA of DE is partnering with Delaware’s Parent Information Center to offer an IEP basics workshop.

“Parents are essential partners on the IEP team. Informed parents whounderstand the IEP process, goal-setting, and future planning can make allthe difference in team success.
Topics covered:
* Introduction to the Individualized Education Program and the “language” of special education
*Components of an IEP and use of data
*Arriving at appropriate goals
*Understanding Present Level of Educational Performance (PLEP)
*Monitoring IEP implementation
